Black Swan Winery and Restaurant is one of Swan Valley's premier and iconic winery and dining venue.
- The restaurant is a fully licensed venue offering a la carte dining for lunch and dinner and catering for many functions ranging from special occasions, birthday celebrations, corporate events, hen's parties and wedding receptions.
- The venue has been in operation for 20 +years and during this time has received much recognition and won many awards for continually delivering great food, ambiance, and with its unique structure and fantastic views ensures guests a memorable experience.
- The venue's restaurant is open 7 days for lunch and Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner and open most public holidays. Shifts are typical of lunch and dinner service with weekends being the busiest.
- The venues food styles and menu is broadly based on Mediterranean, and Modern Australian. We are seeking a Head Chef who can continue to deliver, for this busy venue, its current style of cuisine and quality food.
- The kitchen is large and well equipped including a combi oven and sous vide machine.
- We require a chef who is food passionate, dedicated to cooking a wide range of food styles, can lead and direct the existing kitchen team, work under pressure, and who is confident in kitchen management.
- Duties will include menu planning and costings, hands on cooking and plating at the pass, kitchen staff supervision, rostering, prep work and ordering.
- Typical shifts worked will be 3 mid week days, Saturday and Sunday lunch service and dinner service on Friday and Saturday evenings. The venue is open most public holidays.
- The position is available for immediate start.
