Job Description:
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, from food preparation to staff management, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. You will create and execute a diverse and exciting menu, manage inventory, and maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, mentorship, hiring and training.
  • Develop and refine seasonal menus, ensuring creativity, consistency, and quality.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring each dish meets the restaurant's high standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality ingredients.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to create a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Handle staff scheduling, performance reviews, and maintain a positive team culture.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and seasonal ingredients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary position.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and food safety.
  • Ability to create and execute high-quality, innovative menus.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a high-volume kitchen.
  • A formal culinary qualification is preferred but not required.
