GRILL CHEF

Cock & Bull Tavern is currently seeking GRILL CHEF to work in a busy and fast paced kitchen.
Duties/responsibilities
- Produce and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure hotel menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed.
- Develop collaborative relationships with hotel owners and leaders to provide quality food and prompt service to our many regular customers.
- Create a positive working environment.
- Clean and maintain kitchen premises and follow all workplace hygiene procedures and regulations.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ensuring kitchen equipment is maintained.
Skills/experience
- Prior experience is recommended, but not essential. We will train the right person up from scratch!
- Trade qualified: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent with experience.
- Previous experience in high volume food preparation and high-volume customer environment.
- High level of interpersonal, communication and team skills.
- Professional dress and grooming standards along with a high standard in customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work various shifts including nights & weekends.
- The ability to work individually and in a team environment.
