Position: Full-Time Chef
Hours: 38 - 40 hours per week
Days: Friday to Tuesday
Working Hours: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Willow Café is a vibrant, fast-paced eatery located in the heart of Balmoral. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings to our community. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Chef to join our team and contribute to our reputation for exceptional food and service.

Role Overview:

You will report directly to the Head Chef and be responsible for:

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard for our menu.
• Collaborating with the Owner and café staff (FOH and BOH) to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support in the planning and creation of new menu items, with a focus on innovation and quality.
• Preparing for day shift service, including ensuring the kitchen is stocked, and food is prepped.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef, ideally in a café or similar setting that serves both breakfast and lunch.
• Flexibility, with a strong team-oriented attitude to maintain a positive work environment.
• Minimum of a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• A deep commitment to food safety, complying with all Food Safety Programme requirements.

What We Offer:

• A full-time, permanent role with consistent hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
• Annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 plus Superannuation.
