Role Summary

We're looking for a dynamic, humble, hungry, and smart individual with a strong understanding of projects or construction to join our operations team. As a key team member, you'll be responsible with coordinating fabrication, welding and assembly. Collaborating with the operations manager and project managers to deliver cutting-edge access solutions with world-class manufacturing quality.

About The Role

Your duties as Fabrication Coorindator team member will include but not be limited to:

• Reading, interpreting and understand technical fabrication drawings
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal parts using tools and machinery
• Welding of parts and assemblies
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools
• Maintain stock for fabrication and coordinate with procurement team
• Standardise procedures for fabrication & assembly to increase efficiency and minimise waste

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Proven experience as a fabricator and boilermaker with aluminium. (stainless experience is also beneficial)
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Team leadership
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in using metalworking tools and machinery
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties
• Attention to detail and high precision in work
• Good physical stamina and dexterity
• Motivated and optimistic
