Experienced Assistant Manager: Large A-La-Carte Restaurant & Some Events

We are seeking a passionate, hardworking and highly experienced individual to assist the Restaurant Manager in running 8 at Trinity's 350+ seat al-a-carte and occasional events operation.
An incredible chance awaits an energetic candidate with EXTENSIVE prior EXPERIENCE as an Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in premium al-a-carte restaurant operations AND has experience in end-to-end event management in a venue.
You must be comfortable working in a hybrid role where a significant proportion (90%+) of your week will be the al-a-carte operation while still managing the occasional events.

ABOUT YOU
You must be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 2-3 years experience in a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager role or a relevant Diploma or higher qualification or equivalent;
- Proven ability to run a large busy premium al-a-carte restaurant breakfast, lunch & dinner shifts while overseeing the front of house;
- Proven small and large scale end-to-end event management in premium venues (corporate, private & events);
- Strong leadership and management abilities;
- Attention to detail and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high pressure fast paced environment;
- Wine knowledge preferable but not essential.
- RSA Certificate essential;
- Proficiency on Microsoft Office, event management / CRM software & computerised POS systems;
- Available to work days, evenings and weekends. (8 at Trinity is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays);
- Must be very well presented and well spoken, reliable and honest.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with managing all aspects of restaurant and events operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, ordering supplies, etc.
- Ensure the team executes exceptional customer service.
- Conducting staff briefings.
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the pass runs efficiently and effectively every service.
