We're seeking a driven and experienced Event/Conference Manager to join our team at Pro Regal Pavilion in Wentworthville, NSW. This is a casual role where you'll oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events and conferences for our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Developing comprehensive event plans and timelines to ensure seamless delivery
- Managing all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and event collateral
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to coordinate event details
- Overseeing event staff and volunteers to ensure exceptional customer service
- Monitoring event budgets and managing expenditures
- Evaluating event success and providing detailed post-event reports
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Event/Conference Manager or similar role within the marketing and communications industry
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Proficient in event planning software and tools
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve effectively
- Flexible and adaptable to handle the dynamic nature of event management
