Position Overview
We are looking for a suitably qualified, motivated person with a minimum 3years work experience in Australian agriculture, to lead projects and contribute their knowledge within our engineer, science and drafting teams.
The purpose of this full-time position is to deliver engineer related outcomes in multiple projects to meet commercial agreements with clients within budget. The position may require occasional travel for site visits and oversee data collection.
The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and other relevant project managers in regard to project and task delivery.

Key Duties will include
- Manage project scoping, building project budgets and winning proposals.
- Your teams' delivery will include development of concept design, detailed design, construction, interpretation of data, report writing and project reporting.
- Work with our drafting team in 2D and 3D design of earthworks, concrete structures, roads, sewerage and drainage, reinforced concrete, steelwork and pipelines for the agricultural, food processing, industrial, and mining sectors.
- Reporting weekly, and as required, your project tasks and deliverables to meet the business needs.
- Lead design reviews with the client on technical design, drafting issues and compliance requirements, as appropriate.
- Liaise positively with, and maintain cooperative and healthy relationships with, clients, government agency staff, and peers.
- Interact with Project Managers and Client Managers for project outcomes, as delegated by the Operations Manager.
- Undertake occasional site visits for field assessments, including overnight stays.
- Comply with our ISO 9001 systems.
- Other duties as directed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in one or more of the following areas: Civil, or Agricultural Engineering, Applied Engineering, or a related degree.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an Australian agricultural industry, or related business, using your degree.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical and report writing.
- Demonstrated experience in related project tasks such as data analysis.
- Sound competency in computer skills using MS office, and other software as required.
Other Requirements
- Current Open driver's license (manual vehicle preferred).
- Police check, if required
- Medical check, if required
- "White Card", or ability to obtain.
- First Aid certificate, preferred.
