About the Role:

A skilled and motivated Electrical Fitter or Electrician is needed to join a factory team based in Alexandria, NSW. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work in a supportive, family-owned business with excellent working conditions. You will be involved in the assembly, wiring, and simulation testing of custom-built gas and electric steam boilers, playing a key part in delivering products that meet clients’ specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, wire, and test gas and electric steam boilers according to schematic drawings and client requirements.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards through simulation testing.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a workshop environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and client specifications.
• Assist in the supervision of factory operations with the opportunity to grow into a lead hand role, overseeing production and providing guidance to team members.

Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualifications as an Electrical Fitter or industry experience.
• Overseas Electrical Experience will be considered
• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Desire to learn and grow into a supervisory role within the factory.

Desirable:

• Forklift licence (an advantage but not essential).
• Basic computer proficiency.
