About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Administrator / Electrical Engineer to join the team at Northern Power Services' in Darwin, Northern Territory. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and administering a range of commercial contracts, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
• Monitoring contract compliance and ensuring timely renewals and extensions
• Maintaining comprehensive contract records and documentation
• Providing support and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters
• Ensure compliance with NPS HSEQ systems
• Assisting with the procurement process, including issuing requests for proposals and tenders
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficiencies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or Electrical Engineer in a similar role
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of contract management software and MS Office suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
