About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Educational Leader to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This leadership role is integral to maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality educational programs and supporting our team of educators to achieve excellence in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire educators to deliver exceptional educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor innovative educational practices that enhance children's learning and development
  • Collaborate with the Centre Director and team to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Provide guidance on curriculum planning and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community to foster a connected and engaged learning environment
  • Support the professional development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training

About You
You are a natural leader with a passion for early childhood education, capable of inspiring and motivating others to achieve their best. Your excellent communication and relationship-building skills allow you to connect with staff, children, and families effectively. You have a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and are committed to continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • VIT Teacher registration or relevant early childhood teaching qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childcare setting
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and National Quality Framework (NQF)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with and support educators, families, and children
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative working culture
