As a not-for-profit service with space for 84 children, we’re dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for your little ones. Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident leader in the Early Childhood sector to join our management team. Someone who is looking to showcase your leadership skills and knowledge of the Early Childhood sector. Our Educational Leader will be working collaboratively with the management team to help their service reach the heights of success. The Educational Leader will need to demonstrate

• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Ability to guide, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with educators, families and external agencies
• Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs
• Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback and engage in ongoing professional learning
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the broader community

Essential experience and knowledge

• Demonstrated history of success as an effective leader or mentor in an early childhood setting
• Ensuring all children have equitable access to learning opportunities, catering to diverse needs
• Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations
• Capability to use relevant software and technology for documentation, communication and planning

Minimum requirements

• Diploma qualified or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Lead Educator or Room Leader role 
• Current First Aid qualification including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma (ACECQA recognised course code)
• Current WWCC (employee)
