What We're Looking For: 

Lead Educators and Educators (Permanent Part-time, up to 37.5hrs/wk, Monday to Friday): 

Hold a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to create a harmonious learning environment. 
  • Innovative Thinker: Bring fresh and creative ideas to engage children in exciting and educational activities.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. 
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

 

Chef (Permanent Part-time, up to 37.5hrs/wk, Monday to Friday):

Relevant Qualifications required.

Previous experience in a Childcare kitchen would be an asset, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement healthy child friendly menu's. 
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, ordering, stock rotation etc.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive dining environment. 
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, colleagues and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records at all times.
  • Cater for centre events when needed.

 

Kitchen Hand (Permanent Part-time, 25hrs/wk 11am - 4pm each day, Monday to Friday):

Experience would be an asset, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the centre Chef
  • Ensuring all dishes are washed and ready for use will be a main priority of this role.
  • Ability to support our chef with stock rotation etc.
  • Foster a happy and inviting dining environment. 
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records at all times.
  • Cater for centre events when needed.

 

On Call Casuals (Casual hours varies from 0-5days/wk):

Hold a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or be studying towards.

  • On call casual staff are very important to our early education centre. Being an on-call casual does not bring with it guaranteed hours each week but can range from 1-5days depending on the needs of the centre.
