Exciting Employment Opportunities at Ocean Shores Early Learning Centre

Ocean Shores Early Learning Centre, located in the beautiful town of Ocean Shores NSW, is a 52-place Centre offering long day care and preschool. As a private, family-run centre, we are committed to fostering strong relationships with children, families, and the community.

We are currently recruiting a Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher to work across different age groups. By joining our passionate and enthusiastic team, you will be part of a homely and supportive environment dedicated to the development and well-being of our children.

Requirements:

  • ACECQA Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Early Childhood Teaching
  • Have initiative, be a team player and be able to collaborate with other educators
  • Be able to work shifts between Monday to Friday 7.00 AM to 5:30PM
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current NESA teachers registration
  • Current First Aid certificate including asthma and anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
  • Up to date Child Protection training
  • Clear understanding of the National Quality Standards, Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Passionate about working with young children and providing exceptional care.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality care and assist in the education and development of children
  • Build strong relationships with the children and families and communicate important information to parents/carers
  • Ensuring a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children.
  • Preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups based on the EYLF, particularly a Preschool Program
  • Implement and evaluate daily care routines
  • Adhere to the service’s policies and procedure
