About the Role:

• Perform general maintenance, installations, fault-finding, and pole replacements.
• Work locations available in Melbourne or Perth.
• Relocation assistance available for candidates within Australia and New Zealand.
• Sponsorship available for qualified New Zealand candidates (NZ qualifications/tickets required).
• Training provided to obtain an Australian Certificate 3 and Glove & Barrier/Live Line ticket.

Benefits & Pay:

• Pay Rates:
  
  • Distribution Line Worker: $61.76 per hour + super.
  • Glove & Barrier Line Worker: $68.48 per hour + super.
• Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA): $280 - $430 per day (location dependent).
• Roster Options:
  
  • Monday to Friday Metro roster.
  • Minimal availability for 10/4 Regional Roster.
• Rostered Day Off (RDO) System: Work 9 days with accrued time leading to a paid day off.
• Relocation Assistance:
  
  • $5,000 for individuals.
  • $8,000 for families.
• Overtime Pay: Double time for all work outside of ordinary hours.
• Temporary Accommodation: Up to 1 month in a serviced apartment to assist with relocation.

What you need:

• Prior experience as a G&B Lineworker or Distribution Line Worker and have relevant tickets
• Certificate III in Distribution Overhead or New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply Line Mechanic Distribution (Level 4)
• White Card
• A current Driving Licence is required, with Medium to Heavy Rigid (MR/HR) classification preferred.
• High Risk Work Licences
