Vietnam Pho Pho restaurant is looking for an experienced cook who wants to work in a contemporary kitchen which incorporate both high volume and quality.

It's essential that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to work quickly, whilst taking pride in making authentic, wholesome dishes.

The food has a contemporary Vietnamese influence with an emphasis on regional ingredients and produce form our region. The restaurant has earned a great reputation with both locals and visitors.

You must possess at least two-year experience in Asian food and cuisine; as well as qualification III or IV in commercial cookery. Applicants must be able to work well in a team and have a great attitude towards the work.

Tasks including:

  • examining foodstuffs to ensure qua
  • regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
  • preparing and cooking food
  • seasoning food during cooking
  • portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
  • storing food in temperature controlled facilities
  • preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
  • may plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • may train other kitchen staff and apprentices

You will have an ability to work under pressure, have an eye for detail, maintain a safe & hygienic work environment and essentially, take pride in your work

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + superannuation per annum.
