Job Description

Le Bouchon is a traditional French restaurant located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We are looking for a talented and experienced Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of French cuisine and be able to work independently and as part of a team. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and safety
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and supplies
  • Assist with the training of new kitchen staff
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen

  • Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience as a chef  in a French restaurant
  • Strong understanding of French cuisine
  • Excellent cooking skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills in hot section
