Civil Project Manager

GCE Contractors are seeking a Civil Project Manager with an engineering background to become part of our business alongside an experienced team.
About the Role:
• Working closely with the Site Supervisor in the organisation of labour, plant, machinery, equipment and materials to meet the program.
• Creating & implementing the construction program.
• Working with the client to resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues.
• Reviewing and approving subcontract and supplier invoices and monthly claims.
• Ability to manage project expenditure and cash flow.
• Ensuring projects are managed on budget, completed on time and delivered to a high quality.
• Experience with project programming, cost and quality control, procurement and supplier engagement
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is desirable - alternatively, extensive Project Management or Engineering experience in the civil industry will be considered.
• Minimum 5 years experience on civil infrastructure projects. Tunnelling experience would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of drainage, water and sewer.
• Delivering self-perform works.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret plans.
• Programming & Cost Control.
• Excellent safety record from previous projects
