About the role
Kadota', a leading restaurant in Daylesford VIC, is seeking passionate Chefs/Apprentices/Kitchen Staff to join our close-knit team. As a full-time member of our kitchen crew, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers. Our restaurant is known for its focus on locally-sourced, seasonal produce, and we're looking for individuals who share our commitment to culinary excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare high-quality dishes from our seasonal menu using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and service
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Participate in menu development and testing of new recipes
- Provide exceptional and a positive dining experience for our guests
What we're looking for
- Relevant culinary qualifications or experience as a Chef/Cook
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
- Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create delicious, visually appealing dishes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a desire to learn and grow
