About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef with expertise in Greek cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and presenting a variety of Greek dishes, ensuring consistency and high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Greek dishes, including Gyros, Souvlaki, Moussaka, Seafood, and Traditional Meze.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and taste.
• Ensure kitchen operations comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Manage stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed.
• Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and specials.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience as a Chef, in Greek cuisine.
• Formal culinary qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery preferred).
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Willingness to commit to a long-term role in Australia.
