East Coast Angling is looking for an experienced Chef to join our crew this season on the Northern Great Barrier Reef, Coral Sea and Torres Strait Islands.

Job Description:

YACHT SIZE : 90ft Charter M/Y

CURRENT LOCATION: Port Douglas

ITINERARY: Great Barrier Reef / Torres Strait Islands / Coral Sea

START DATE: 23 November 2024

END DATE: 30 December 2024 for contract and ongoing for full time role acceptance

CONTRACT: Full Time or Contract work available depending on individuals situation

Must have an Australian Working Visa and be based in Australia

The candidate must be restaurant trained or have worked in a similar position on board high calibre yachts. You will be cooking for 9 guests and 5 crew each day. Your meals must be of high standard and presented at a high standard. Good knowledge of seafood as it is cooked 3-4 days of the week. You will need to be able to menu plan a week in advance and provision the boat a week in advance in remote locations using fresh and local produce.

Breakfast, packed lunch, canapes and 2 course dinner each day.
