As the food baby of Head Chef and owner, Junda Khoo,- our restaurant is the place where Penang street food, traditionally eaten with your hands, meets generous family-style Nyonya feasts.
What You’ll Do
Located in the heart of Sydney, our restaurant needs experienced and motivated Chef de Parties/Station Chefs to join us!
We’d love to have someone hardworking, passionate, creative, quick on their feet, know how to run a busy service, and maintain high standards at all times. We have full time positions available. Part time positions for weekends only.
We're offering between $50,000-65,000 p.a. for the right person, depending on experience.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant trade certificate is required
- Min 2 years experience is a must
- Excellent food knowledge, plus the eagerness to learn about our modern Malaysian cuisine
- Enthusiasm, energy, fresh ideas and engaging personality
- Able to work in a faced paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in supervising a team
- Reliable and honest
- Working rights visa required, sponsorship available for right candidate.
