The Company
Eco Homes Group is a growing residential construction company with the ability to design and build custom homes throughout Perth and the regional area of Western Australia. 
We contribute to a better future by designing and building healthy, sustainable and economical homes.
We are currently looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.
We can offer visa sponsorship to a motivated and hard-working candidate. 


Job tasks and responsibilities

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
• Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures
• Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
• Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
cutting wood joints
• Installing walls and roof insulation, gyprock sheeting and flushing
• Installing windows
• Installing cabinets
• Laying timber floor, decking
• May construct concrete formwork
• May repair existing fittings
• May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals
• May install roof sheeting
• All-round activities on a construction site 


The ideal candidate will have and be:
• Residential address within 15km to Welshpool, Western Australia
• Diploma qualification or at least three years of relevant experience (overseas qualification and experience accepted)
• Very high attention to detail
• Experience with construction/renovation projects as well as high-level administration and organizational skills
• Passionate about energy efficient homes and passive houses 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines
• Exposure to the resources and or construction industry is essential
• Demonstrated track record of successfully completed residential projects
• Own transport, valid driver's license, no pending fines/infringements
• Able to provide a clean AFP police clearance
• Highly Motivated
• Well-organized and able to meet deadlines
• Able to manage multiple projects at one time
