About the role

The Carpenter role offers diversion of time on the tools and time performing supervision of trades on site. You will be responsible for carpentry works and general maintenance works. To be effective in this position you will be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including fixing carpentry, framing carpentry, and general renovation work.
• Conduct renovations, refurbishments, and general building maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other trades to maintain project timelines, quality benchmarks and seamless project delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 Years Carpentry experience
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to lead and work to deadlines
• Current manual driver’s license
• Strong commitment to OHS
• Have own tools

Skill Pre-requisites:

• Trade qualification as a Carpenter
• White Card
• Ability to operate effectively and supervise a team
• Working at Heights Ticket

 Preferred but not essential:

• Elevated Working Platform and Forklift ticket
• Current First Aid Certificate
