TLE Electrical Wetherill Park is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to expand our reach, connect with clients, and unlock new markets.

This is a full-time role that offers flexible hours, with most of your time spent on the road meeting clients. Your primary focus will be on growing our industrial & major commercial accounts.

What You’ll Do:
  • Grow the Customer Base: Actively identify, approach, and onboard new customers.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Develop strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure consistent monthly purchases.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Implement strategies to meet and exceed monthly sales targets to achieve consistent revenue growth
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with the internal sales team, fellow BDMs, and suppliers to maximise opportunities.
  • Market Insight: Staying updated on industry trends and competitors and identifying prospect business development.
About You:
  • Proven Sales Experience: Previous experience in an external sales role, identifying leads and driving new business growth, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Industry Knowledge & Adaptability: Ideally experience within electrical wholesale or related wholesale industries (solar, plumbing, hardware, security etc.)
  • Relationship-Building: Skilled in cold calling and fostering long-term relationships to drive growth through exceptional customer service.
  • Self-Motivated and Independent: Strong initiative with the ability to manage and expand a customer base autonomously, while maintaining flexibility in a field-based role.
  • Driven and Passionate: You have a genuine passion for sales and a drive to grow your career within the business.
  • Travel Ready: Willing to travel within your region to engage with clients. A driver’s license is essential.
  • Work rights: Australian/NZ citizen or permanent residents. No temporary visas or sponsorship.
