We are looking for an experienced Bookings Officer to join this organisation and be a highly valued member of their middle office operations team which includes specialists in bookings, settlements, sponsorship, deceased estates, money market etc. 
  
We are looking for a professional who has a strong understanding of Australian financial services – particularly the processes around bookings. An individual who is keen to be part of a well-functioning team that has a lot to offer in terms of knowledge and experience.

To be successful we are looking for an individual with hands-on knowledge and has the ability to:

• Process and confirm client trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASX regulations.
• Reconcile and balance suspense accounts.
• Recognise and resolve transaction, trade and balance discrepancies.  .
• Communicate with various stakeholders to resolve issues.  

You must have excellent knowledge of trading platforms, ASX systems, and ideally financial software or settlement systems.  

You must have:

• Experience in ensuring trades and activities are compliant with both internal policies and industry rules and standards.
• Experience and deep knowledge of trading platforms, ASX systems processes, and deadlines. 
• Understanding of settlements, clearing and custody cycle.
• Excellent communication skills.
