BLIND BARBERY is on the lookout for another experienced BARBER to join our thriving barbershop and our East Geelong Community! 

Our vision is to deliver the finest barbering and customer service, and we are looking for an outstanding barber who strives to help people look their best.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Barber to join our team as we continue to evolve and expand.

Our barbers are knowledgeable, and work intentionally to consult with clients to find their favourite style, to ensure they receive top notch service.

Our team is extremely passionate in what we do. We take pride in making our clients feel and look their best. We have high expectations for customer service, and we don't apologise for it.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about barbering and making their clients feel special and look sharp, someone who understands how important details and correct technique are, someone who loves working with a team, and someone who feels at home with all of us! 

ABOUT BLIND BARBERY

We opened during the pandemic and we are so proud to be a part of the village that is East Geelong. We're also proud of the connection we've made with our clients - we're all about the warm and friendly vibes in the shop, so we know their Blind Barbery experience is more than just walking out with new hair.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced barber who is ambitious for career progression, ultimately into a lead role. Our days are jam-packed so we can have jam-packed days off too.  The working hours will be:

Tuesday - Friday:  9am - 7pm

with every Saturday, Sunday and Monday off.

THE IMPORTANT THINGS: 

• We offer above industry award rate + Commission.
• Sale's percentage and renting a chair options will also be considered.
• Sponsorship for onshore and offshore applicants will be both considered.
• 5+ years experience in Barbering is required.
• A true passion for helping clients look and feel their best by providing exceptional Haircuts, Beard trims, Shaves, etc.
• Someone who is responsible, accountable and has strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills. 
• High level of integrity and reliability.
• Fun and energetic - we have high expectations that every client receives the same high standard of service regardless of their appointment time.
• Cert III or above in Barbering or hairdressing is required.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Workplace flexibility: You can choose your own hours if you prefer to rent a chair or work as a contractor. 
• 3 consecutive days off (Saturday until Monday) each and every week!
