Currently we are on the hunt for an innovative and creative Bar Manager to help lead our team to the next Level.

A mature Individual that will exceed all our customers' expectations and collaborative approach and attention to all small details that make a difference.

– One who is at home within hospitality and is passionate about providing the unparalleled customer service experience, this role will be supported by the General Manager and the Senior Leadership Team.

The role as the Bar Manager will see you lead and motivate a small team consisting of supervisors, bar & service professionals ensuring guest satisfaction is consistent with our core standards, thorough planning, organising, directing and controlling product delivery.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

– Product development, menu development and other product innovations

– Recruit, develop and train all staff on our special operating procedures

– Ensuring selected staff are well versed with the current promotional offers for both restaurant and bars.

– Empowering staff to find better ways to constantly deliver quality and service beyond our customer expectations.

– Managing, coaching and mentoring your team

– Maintaining a strict cleanliness standard including but not limited to knowledge of food handling and hygiene.

– Maintaining maintenance of all beverage equipment

– Responsible for placing orders in accordance with our purchasing system and approved vendors and adhering to a purchasing budget.

– Manage staffing schedule in accordance with financial requirements.

– Responsible for managing all stock control management

We would hope you possess the following

– A passion for hospitality with a proactive approach to everything within the venue

– Experience as a Cocktail Bartender/Mixologist in a vibrant, fast-paced, high-volume venue.

– Attained a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (mandatory)

– Computer literacy (MS Office/Apple equivalent)

– Ability to coach, mentor and lead a team

– Strong accuracy and attention to detail

– Strong ability to work under pressure both in and out of service

– Excellent customer service skills matched to excellent staffing skills

– Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to follow tasks through to completion

– Excellent problem-solving skills capitalising on your proactive-ness

– Well-groomed and professional in appearance
