Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching and motivating the sales team to consistently meet sales targets and KPIs.
- Supporting the Head Team Leader in sales, store operations, and developing a customer service-focused team that delivers exceptional results.
- Leading initiatives to drive education and debtor account sales, and maintaining relationships with existing clients through cold calling, Book Drives, and networking.
- Ensuring stock integrity with support from the buying and operations teams, and managing inventory/stock control.
- Creating an attractive store environment in line with merchandising guides and promotional directives.
- Strengthening communication and collaboration between store and operations teams.
- Promoting a safe, supportive, and growth-focused culture within the store.
- Encouraging a cohesive, positive team atmosphere.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a team leader or in an assistant management role within retail.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills, a customer service focus, and the ability to think on your feet.
- Proficiency in PC skills and a keen eye for merchandising.
- A desire to learn and grow your career.
