The position is full-time, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Duties:

  • Assist with various carpentry activities on residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Work closely with the Leading Hand and other carpenters to carry out tasks such as framing, roofing, siding, and finishing work.
  • Learn to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of tools and equipment for the project.
  • Help ensure work is completed to a high standard, in line with project specifications and timelines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Assist with site inspections to identify hazards and maintain cleanliness.
  • Learn from more experienced carpenters, participating in training and gaining new skills to progress in the trade.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other tradespeople on site.
  • Assist with maintaining tools and materials, ensuring efficient use and delivery on time.

Applicants must have:

  • White Card
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the trade
  • Own tools (preferred but not essential)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience

  • Drivers Licence (Preferred)
